Privacy Policy

Last revised: 26 June 2026

Skill Masters and its affiliates (“Skill Masters”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operate a Telegram Mini App and related website for skill-based board games, including Backgammon and Ludo (the “App”). Players can match against others, open rooms, watch matches, manage a wallet, buy gems or cash packages, and invite friends for referral rewards (together, the “Services”).

We treat personal information shared with us with care. This notice covers customers and players, website visitors, partners and vendors, and people who apply to work with us (together, “you”). Please read it so you understand what we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Who decides how data is used

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and similar laws, Skill Masters is typically the controller of personal data about players, website visitors, business contacts, vendors, and job applicants. In California terms, we are the “business” for that data. Staff employment records are handled under a separate internal notice.

Licensed or independent payment partners (for example Telegram Stars checkout, or a TON or Tron wallet you connect) may process some data under their own rules. In those cases they are separate controllers. We only receive what we need to confirm a deposit, withdrawal, or account link.

We may also act as an independent controller where the law requires it — identity checks, fraud prevention, access controls, and keeping the Services secure.

If a partner asks us to process player data strictly on their instructions, we act as a processor for that slice of work. Those arrangements are set out in the contract with that partner.

Information we may collect

We collect both anonymous usage signals and personal data so we can run accounts, matches, payments, and support.

You are not legally required to give us information. We do need some of it to open an account, complete a deposit or withdrawal, or answer a request. If you withhold it, parts of the Services may be unavailable.

Account and profile

When you open the App through Telegram or claim a web identity, we may receive or store a Telegram user id, username, display name, avatar, language, country, date of birth or 18+ confirmation, email, and login tokens. You can edit your public name and avatar in the App. We may also keep a referral token if you arrived through a friend’s link.

Match and lobby activity

We process game choice, room type (quick match, public, or private invite), stake and currency (cash, bonus cash, gems, or free), match results, rematch requests, spectator settings, and reports you send about another player. Rank or rating figures tied to your account may be stored so results and history stay consistent.

Wallet and shop

To fund play or pay out winnings we may process wallet addresses you connect, package or bundle identifiers, amounts, currency, payment method (TON, USDT, Telegram Stars, Tron, or others we enable), transaction status, timestamps, and history filters (win, loss, deposit, referral, withdrawal, refund). Bonus cash is tagged so it can be used in matches but not withdrawn. Withdrawals currently require a connected TON wallet and are subject to platform minimums.

Payment networks and wallet apps may collect extra details on their side. We do not control that collection beyond what is needed to complete the transfer.

Support, feedback, and in-app help

If you write to support or use Help, we may store the email or Telegram handle you give us, the text of the issue, attachments, and technical clues that help us reproduce a bug. Do not send government id or full card numbers in those messages.

Business contacts

If you write to us as a partner, vendor, or press contact — or meet us at an event — we may keep your name, email, phone, role, company, and the content of the inquiry. Public professional listings (for example a public profile page) may supplement that record.

Technical and device data

When you load the website or App we (or analytics tools we use) may log IP address, approximate region, browser and OS, screen size, language, referral URL, pages or screens viewed, click paths, session length, crash traces, and cookie or similar identifiers. We use this for security, performance, and product analytics.

Job applicants

If you apply to work with us we collect the details you send (name, contact, CV, answers to screens, and anything else you choose to include). We may also receive notes from recruiters or references. Without this we cannot review the application.

Why we use personal data

We use data to run the App, honor contracts, protect players, and meet the law.

To perform a contract or steps you ask for first

Legitimate interests in running a fair, working product

Consent (where the law asks for it)

Optional cookies or similar tools used for marketing or non-essential analytics are placed only after you agree, in jurisdictions that require that consent. You can change that choice later through the cookie controls on the website or your device settings.

Legal duties

We may process data to meet tax, bookkeeping, anti-fraud, sanctions, or other legal duties; to respond to lawful requests from courts or regulators; and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We may also use data to enforce our terms and collect amounts owed.

When we share data

We share data with companies that help us run the product, and with authorities when we must.

Affiliates in the Skill Masters group may receive data only as needed for the purposes above. Transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to affiliates outside those regions use an approved mechanism such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, when one is required.

We also use third parties bound by contract to process only what they need, including:

If Skill Masters is sold, merged, or transfers assets, personal data may move with the business. We may also disclose data to comply with law, protect players and the platform, or prevent crime. Some payment brands collect data directly from you under their own notices.

Where data lives and international transfers

Data is stored on systems we control or on reputable cloud providers acting for us. Production services may run in more than one country. Staff and vendors outside the EEA or UK may access data to operate the App.

When we move personal data out of the EEA or UK we use safeguards that those laws treat as adequate — for example Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK addendum, or an adequacy ruling (including transfers to Israel where that ruling applies). We transfer data to host and back it up, to deliver the Services, to meet legal duties, and to serve players in several regions. Contact us if you want more detail about those safeguards.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it to provide the Services, meet legal and audit duties, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When a record is no longer needed we delete it or strip it of identifiers. Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may stay. Copies on vendor systems follow those vendors’ deletion cycles and our backups until they rotate.

Cookies and similar tools

We use cookies, pixels, and local storage to tell sessions apart, keep you signed in, measure traffic, and — where allowed — support marketing. Strictly necessary tools do not need consent. Other tools wait for your choice where the law requires it. You can change website cookie settings at any time and you can also clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies may break login or payment confirmation.

Security

We use industry-standard controls to limit accidental or unauthorized access, loss, or alteration of personal data. That includes encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and encryption at rest where we judge the risk requires it, plus firewalls, malware defenses, access logs, penetration tests, and physical limits on who can reach production systems. Access inside Skill Masters is limited to people who need it for their job, who are trained, and who are under confidentiality duties.

No system is perfectly safe. We cannot promise that leaks or attacks will never happen. If a breach affects personal data we will notify regulators and affected people as the law requires, and we will take reasonable steps to contain it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing.

In the EU, UK, and some other places you may, with exceptions, ask us to:

Some of these actions (display name, avatar, language) can be done in the App. For data we control, email support@skillmasters.app. We may need to verify who you are. We may keep a log of the request for our own compliance file. Rights are not unlimited: we may refuse or narrow a request where the law allows — for example to protect other people, trade secrets, ongoing legal claims, or records we must keep.

You may also complain to your local data protection authority. If they do not handle the complaint, you may have a right to go to court.

Where a payment provider is the controller, send that request to them unless the law says otherwise.

US state privacy rights

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and certain other US states have extra rights to know categories and pieces of personal information, receive a portable copy, correct or delete information, opt out of “sale” or sharing for cross-context or targeted advertising, and not be treated worse for using those rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share limited website identifiers with advertising or analytics partners through cookies. Where those laws apply, you can opt out by choosing only necessary cookies on our banner or by using a “Do Not Sell or Share” control when we display one. We do not knowingly share data of anyone under 16 for those purposes. To make a request, email support@skillmasters.app. We may ask for government-issued identification. You may appoint an authorized agent.

Over the last 12 months we have collected the categories described in this notice, used them for the purposes listed above, and disclosed them to the types of vendors listed under sharing. We do not process “sensitive personal information” as a standalone advertising business in the sense of those statutes. We have not sold personal information.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. We do not change our practices in response to that signal.

People under 18

Skill Masters is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we do not allow them to register. If you are under 18, do not use the Services or send us information. If we learn we have collected data from a minor without the required permission, we will delete it as soon as we reasonably can. Tell us immediately at support@skillmasters.app if you think this has happened.

Links and third-party logins

The website and App may link to other sites or let you connect a wallet or pay through Telegram. This notice covers data we collect, or that vendors collect for us. Other companies have their own terms and privacy notices. Read those before you submit information. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes

We may update this notice. The current version will be posted on this page. Changes take effect on the “Last revised” date. Continued use of the Services after that date means you accept the updated notice, except where the law requires a different consent.

Contact

We aim to collect only data that is adequate, accurate, and limited to the reason we gathered it, and to keep it no longer than that reason requires. Questions, complaints, or suggestions about this notice can be sent to our privacy contact. We will try to reply in a reasonable time.
